‘Rate templates’ are special or seasonal rates that can be applied to specified time periods. You could, for example, generate unique pricing for summer vacations and save them as a summer template. On the other hand, ‘Rate Plans’ does not associate with dates or seasons, Rate plans are always associates with services you offer at your hotel, such as breakfast plans. In other words, a Rate plan can have multiple rates for different seasons, which can be accomplished through the use of Rate templates.
