FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is it possible to change the auto-assigned room manually?

Yes, you can manually alter allocations. However, auto allocations are recommended because they reduce manual errors.

What if a customer requests extended room but none is available?

Our system moves the other allocation to a different room (if possible) and handles the current extension request automatically. Extension requests will be denied if the entire hotel is occupied and no rooms are available.

Is it possible to get a room if you check out early?

Yes, with early checkouts or cancellations, rooms are returned to available inventory.

What is the process of flex collect automation?

Last-minute cancellations of prepaid bookings (from sites like Booking.com) result in significant losses for hotels. In such instances, flex collect is the best solution. The Chumba Channel system identifies such bookings and collects payments from consumers immediately; but, if payments are not received, the bookings are placed on hold, and customers are notified until payment is received.
